eBag product version on exhibition
KMD demonstrated a preview version of the upcoming eBag product at Uddannelsesforum, October 3rd and 4th, Odense, Denmark. See picture gallery 1 and picture gallery 2 from the exhibition stand. The eBag (Electronic Schoolbag) concept was developed during the Interactive School Environment project that concluded in 2005. [more]

Forskningens Døgn
Under Forskningens Døgn, 12 maj 2005, viser elever, lærere og forskere, hvordan de arbejder sammen i projektet iSkole om at udvikle fremtidens skole. Undervisningen i 8. klasse er for en stund flyttet fra Vestergårdsskolen og Katrinebjergskolen til Lille Torv i Århus Midtby. Som en del af danskundervisningen skal eleverne indsamle viden om forbrugerstof og producere deres helt egen internetavis "konsumUS" om forbrugsvaner, forretningers eksponeringsstrategier, reklamer, forbrug og miljø etc. Opgaverne læses med mobiltelefoner, GPS og særligt mobiltelefon-software: "HyConExplorer". iSchool in TV and Radio
The Project iSchool developed within Interactive Spaces aims to create a learning space for students and teachers using both digital and physical materials. The vision of the project is to develop software infrastructure, GUI's and spatial concepts for new interactive school environments. TV2 Nyhederne has had a recent feature about the project see www.tv2.dk/nyhederne. Similarly Harddisken on DR P1 has recently had a feature about the project. iSchool prototypes at Vestergårdsskolen
The iSchool project have been in a school during two weeks in June, with early prototypes of eBag and eCell. The students have worked with the prototypes in their education, and also participated in the evaluation and in workshops to come up with new designs to the prototypes. See the pictures in galleries.
