SwingScape – a festival succes!
During the Roskilde festival, you could see and experience SwingScape – the music installation which gives you the possibility to remix your own songs using your body. The 15m x 15m, and 4 m high, installation soon became a popular event on the festival; both as a playful interactive installation bringing people together with music and as a visual meeting point for some of the 75.000 visitors. SwingScape
"Ånd og Vidensfestivalen" at Roskilde is a completely new winter festival. A two-day cavalcade of activities and experiences taking place in February 2010 which will light up the streets, buildings and residents of Roskilde. It will focus on scientific knowledge and spiritual breathing space, to create a festival with an ambitious complex program of activities and experiences for all residents. Interactive Spaces has developed the installation "SwingScape" - an interactive installation that comes into play at the visitor's physical activities. ”Echoes of the City” – an interactive installation at Roskilde library
Interactive Spaces transforms Roskilde library into an experience space that immerse the user in the information flow between the library and the surrounding city. Pulse, atmosphere, sound and movements from the city are transformed to live interactive installations. "Echoes of the city" can be experienced on 10th - 24 February during library opening hours. BannerBattle explained on P4 radio
Martin Ludvigsen was interviewed for P4/østjylland about the BannerBattle prototype. It was installed for a couple of Superliga matches at Aarhus Stadium where AGF - the local football team - played against Esbjerg and Brøndby. The interview is a very short explanation of the BannerBattle prototype (in Danish) and a discussion about how we added an extra layer to the spectator experience and the potentials for installing BannerBattle nationwide. Participation in VTU GreenIT Delegation in Shanghai
In the period June 7th to June 13th, Kaj Grønbæk and Marianne Graves Petersen participate in a delegation sent to Shanghai, China, by Danish Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation’s. The purpose of the delegation is to start export and exchange of knowledge on Green IT between China and Denmark. [more]

iSport Interactive BannerBattle Test
Sunday May 24, the iSport Interactive BannerBattle was succesfully tested for the second time at the Århus Stadium, where the local team AGF won 1-0 against Brøndby IF. The iSport Interactive BannerBattle measures spectator activity from the different fan groups and creates the possibility for the fan groups to have a friendly battle with each others from their chairs based on their noise activity, singing and waving of flags. See the pictures.The first test was at the previous home match were AGF won over Esbjerg.The story from the Esbjerg-match was posted on the fan-news on AGF's homepage and both Brøndby's and AGF's fans were looking forward to the match outside the match againt the AGF fans. Marianne Graves Petersen nominated for the Pasteur Award
Marianne Graves Petersen, who is the project manager for the Mobile Home Center Project supported by the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation, was nominated by the foundation for the Pasteur Award. There were three nominees and the winner was announced October 30th 2008 to be Arnd Baurichter from Danfysik A/S. [more]
