Best presentation award at Nordes
On Monday May 28th, Peter Krogh presented the paper "Inquiry into Libraries - a design approach to children's interactive library" (co-authored with Andreas Lykke-olesen and Eva Eriksson) at the Nordic Design Research (Nordes) Conference in Stockholm. The presentation was awarded "Best paper presentation". In the motivation of the award it said: "not only was the presentation without exception the best, but behind it was also one of the best conference papers." [more]

The Interactive Childrens Library - Prototype Opening
The first prototype, "Story Surfer", in the "Children's Interactive Library" is now put to work at the Main Library in Aarhus. The prototype facilitates children in browsing the library collection of books by displaying projected covers on an interactive floor surfaces. The prototype will stay at the library (Hovedbiblioteket i Århus) for experimentation and use until the 20th of June. [more]

Children's Interactive Library
Is a new project under the initiative on interactive spaces in public libraries. Partners in the project are: Claus Bjarrum Architects, Tihii Media, Dantek, and BCI. The project started 1st of June 2004 and will run for two years. [more]
